





The Floral Weekender
POV: you’re in a floristry studio, surrounded by amazing flowers, you’re learning how to make an array of incredible florals that you can’t wait to show off at home (or at that birthday party you’re hosting next month) You’re well fed, watered, and you leave feeling and looking like a floral goddess, complete with flower crown and enviable camera roll… Think of it as the ultimate floral retreat.
Dates and times: (two day workshop)
DATES TBC 10-4pm
What's on the schedule?
Saturday morning, you’ll be warmly welcomed into the studio for fresh coffee and pastries, and we’ll get acquainted with an incredible array of the best in seasonally grown blooms, then learn how to make your own seasonal hand-tied bouquet in your own signature style.
After a delicious light lunch (and a little fizz), we’ll finish off the day by crafting your own seasonally-inspired wreath that you’ll take home with you, along with your bountiful signature hand-tied bouquet.
On Sunday, after a good catch up over coffee and pastries, we’ll begin learning how to arrange a contemporary floral compote, and how to style a tablescape. Then after another delightful lunch together, we’ll learn how to make flower crowns, and then raise a glass and enjoy the fruits of the day's work/play.
The floral weekender is perfect for flower lovers and aspiring florists alike. Taught over a weekend, it means you don’t have to book any time off from work. We highly recommend booking in with friends, as we’ll be prioritising play and creativity at the weekender!
Don’t worry, you will still learn all about the essential floristry techniques and mechanics for creating your own seasonally-inspired arrangements - and take home your signature creations, as well as pick up professional tips and tricks to elevate your floristry skills.
NOTES
We provide all the flowers, materials and equipment you’ll need. No prior experience is required for this workshop. You will be introduced to the best blooms and materials of the season, and shown step by step, how to create a seasonally-inspired arrangements whilst embracing sustainable, plastic, foam-free mechanics and techniques. You’ll take home all your signature creations to show off your new skills and enjoy.
We love hosting, and provide a pastry breakfast, delicious light lunch and complimentary drinks whilst you are with us. We want you to enjoy a delightful day of creative floral bliss.
This is the perfect class for flower lovers who are intrigued about floristry but don’t know where to start, or for you and your group of friends who just want to have fun doing something different!
